These "how would you answer" things can be kind of fun and show us and others some basic info about ourselves. Unless you're like me, who likes to have some fun with them. You never know what answers will spew from me. Here’s an example, which I hope will brighten your day and make you think about how you would answer.
The challenge:
"Will somebody play, please! I want to enjoy your answers. Let's lighten things up!"
* Age backwards: 56 Damn. It figures. Even backwards, I'm not young anymore.
* Favorite pie: blueberry, or chocolate cream cheese, or lemon meringue or... Is someone delivering these pies?
* Steak or seafood: Seafood. Steak. Seafood and steak. Yeah. Seafood and steak.
* Italian or Chinese: Right. Like they expect me to choose food preferences - AGAIN? The rich, tomatoey, cheese laden, sausage or pepperoni enhanced Italian or the veggie and meat packed, soy sauce, ginger, garlic yumminess of Chinese? I don’t think so. BOTH.
* Pepsi or Coke: Squirt
* Chocolate or vanilla: chocolate chips, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, chocolate cookies, chocolate mousse, chocolate…!!!
* How many tattoos: while some are quite beautiful…________ (fill in the blank). (That will be a nope).
* Ever hit a deer: One of my daughters was against hunting…until a deer ran out in front of her small car, slammed into it, slid up the hood, broke the wind shield and started the car on fire. She wasn’t against hunting deer after that.
* Netflix or Hulu: Those are the only choices? Sheez. (Now, ask me "Britbox or Acorn" and then we’ll talk.)
* Last text from: Made you look!
* Favorite season: Oh, the beauty of this planet: ALL of them. Okay, summer...or spring…and fall. And winter, but only if I can stay indoors – which isn’t going to happen often.
* Broken bones: I won’t tell, if you don’t. If we get into body maladies, we could be here all day……….
* Beach or Mountains: No question about it: beaches with mountains in the background.
* Dogs or cats: Dogs. But cats have been growing on me. They have their creative qualities…creative differences, creative climbing, creative attacks, creative noises... Some even cuddle.
* Early morning person: Is there such a thing? Like, really? (Just kidding - I know there are!)
* Surgeries: Yes. Body (keep it functioning); heart (mending a broken one); soul (growing and keeping me on track); spirit (regenerating my forever person as much as possible).
* Favorite color: Turquoise. Red. Yellow. Burgundy. Royal Blue. Sky blue. Purple… Okay, so I’m an artist. What can I say?
* Have you ever flown on a plane: Would you, would you, if you could? (Dr Seuss talk.)
* Beer or wine: Ew and not as bad an ew. Give me a Pina Colada! Or a Squirt!
* Mild or hot salsa: depends on if we’re talking about the sauce we put on food or the people in our lives. I’d have to say either would fall under milder for me, but once in a while some sassy hot perks things up.
* Waffles or pancakes: Bacon
* Favorite holiday: Christmas, Easter…4th of July, Memorial Day…Labor Day, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving…Snow Days!!!! Do I have to pick? Let’s celebrate! (And rest!)
* Smooth or crunchy peanut butter: smooth – with frozen blueberries. Yes, I've been doing this for decades. Try it! You'll like it! (Assuming you like PB & BB)
* Who will play: Anyone needing a short break from life in general who wants to think about nothing truly important for a spell. It’s good for the soul.
